What is the age and/or value of my katana?

I am the proud new owner of a katana. The blade is 60cm long and the tang is 16 1/2cm long, total length is 79cm. The tang has file marks, no signature, and one pinhole. the blade has a hamon, which has a unique pattern. the handle is made of wood (bamboo i think) with the traditional cloth wrap and brass fittings. the sheath is also wooden with a rayskin cover and brass fittings. There are two brass fittings on the sheath that have a loose ring attached to them for mounting purposes i guess. everything is in pretty rough shape but i plan to have the katana profesionally restored some day, anyone have an idea what the story could be with the sword.
