Kitec Plumbing Problem?

I am looking at buying a new house and during my home inspection, the home inspector noted that the house is plumbed with Kitec Plumbing Pipe and Fittings. These plumbing appurentances have had some major defects (breakages, leakages, etc.) and have been the centre of a number of class action lawsuits both in Canada and the US. The home inspector recommends re-plumbing the whole house. Any professional/experience thoughts on Kitec Plumbing? Thanks.
